Derek Tran still refuses to speak out on the pro-Hamas protests that continue occupying universities including USC, UCLA and UC Irvine.
“Derek Tran’s silence is truly pathetic; pathetic in that Tran is so scared of his far-left base he refuses to take a position on one of the biggest issues sweeping the country right now,” said Michelle Steel Campaign Spokesperson Lance Trover. “Frankly, it’s borderline disqualifying to not tell voters where you stand on such a big issue.”
Last week, Michelle Steel met with several Jewish students from Northwestern University who shared terrible accounts of antisemitism on their campus.
Steel also voted for the Antisemitism Awareness Act which passed with a massive bipartisan vote. The vote came two weeks after the House overwhelmingly passed Steel’s bipartisan legislation to make Iran Sanctions permanent.
