Steel voted against every tax increase
Garden Grove, CA – With just weeks to go before the March 5th primary, liberals Cheyenne Hunt and Aditya Pai tout their support for higher taxes, while Kim Nguyen-Penaloza and Derek Tran are curiously silent on the issue.
“Kim Nguyen-Penaloza and Derek Tran need to come clean with voters about their support for higher taxes,” said Michelle Steel Campaign Spokesperson Lance Trover. “Cheyenne Hunt and Aditya Pai have made clear they want a more progressive system with higher taxes – Nguyen-Penaloza and Tran owe it to voters to say where they are on the issue.”
A review of campaign web sites shows that Nguyen-Penaloza and Tran say nothing about raising taxes while Hunt calls for higher taxes and Pai wants a more “progressive” tax system.
Since joining Congress, Michelle Steel has voted against every tax increase put before the House of Representatives.
