“In 2020, Orange County families sent a clear message that they wanted someone in Washington who would oppose the high taxes and outrageous spending that is crippling their everyday lives.
“I am proud to say I have lived up to that commitment by opposing every single tax hike and spending increase put forward by Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi.
“The choice in November for families of the 45th Congressional District couldn’t be more clear: I support lowering taxes and an all-of-the-above approach to energy so we can reduce gas prices, while my opponent wants more of the very same Biden agenda that’s causing some of the worst inflation and fuel prices in history.
“As a first generation and one of the first Korean Americans ever elected to Congress, I have stood up to the Chinese Communist Party, fought back against anti-Asian hate, and am championing efforts to ensure all students are selected by merit, not race, in college admissions.
“My opponent has chosen a different approach. Rather than standing up to China, he’s doubled down on his support for Chinese Communist Party Confucius Institutes which are nothing more than efforts to infiltrate and indoctrinate Americans.
“Even worse, in an affront to all first generations, my opponent despicably mocked my accent to voters at a town hall. He still refuses to apologize to all the first generations he insulted that day.
“California families cannot afford these higher taxes and crazy gas prices. The last thing we need is someone like my opponent who will go to Washington and double down on the very policies that are hurting our families and causing all of us to pay more while getting less.”
