Michelle Steel, Republican candidate for CA-48, released the following statement on passage of the CARES Act:
“The only way we will overcome the health and economic challenges we face from COVID-19 is to work together, all political parties and persuasions, as we have done here in Orange County.
“The passage of the CARES Act is a major step in helping our local workers and small business owners during this difficult time.
“The most important thing we can do right now is continue required social distancing, while supporting our small businesses and looking out for our most vulnerable including our senior citizens and veterans.”
