California’s Top Taxpayers’ Rights Organization Supports Steel
Today, the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC, California’s leading organization dedicated to the protection of Proposition 13 and California taxpayers, announced their endorsement of Congresswoman Michelle Steel’s reelection campaign in California’s 45th congressional district.
“Michelle Steel has been one of California’s leading advocates to lower taxes on working class people and as a Congresswoman she has continued to fight out-of-touch Washington politicians and the administration to protect taxpayers from tax increases amidst the worst inflation we’ve seen in decades,” said Jon Coupal, President of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association PAC. “Michelle Steel’s record in Washington speaks for itself as she is a proven tax fighter and a real leader who has the convictions to stand up and fight for us and that’s why we are proud to endorse her reelection.”
The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association (HJTA) was founded 42 years ago in order to protect Proposition 13 in California. Since then, HJTA has focused on advancing taxpayer rights, reducing taxes, protecting the right to vote on tax increases, and ensuring economical use of taxpayers dollars. HJTA has saved taxpayers billions of dollars and has worked to support tax-fighting candidates as they seek elected office.
The HJTA PAC joins a long and growing list of prominent individuals and organizations that have recently endorsed Rep. Steel including the California Republican Party, the Lincoln Club, New Majority, and the Orange County and Los Angeles County Republican Parties.
