Key Republican Groups Consolidate Their Support for Michelle Steel
Garden Grove, CA – New Majority, a leading California political organization committed to fiscal responsibility, announced their endorsement of Congresswoman Michelle Steel in California’s 45th Congressional District. Steel also received endorsements from key local Republican leadership, including the Orange County and Los Angeles County Republican Parties.
“Congresswoman Michelle Steel has fought hard for the needs of Orange County voters,” said Howard Hakes, Chairman, New Majority. “She has worked to ensure Orange County receives federal funds for badly needed infrastructure projects, has voted against any tax increases, and worked to combat rising inflation crushing small businesses. Rep. Steel is the kind of leader we need in Washington and we fully support her re-election.”
These announcements give Congresswoman Steel widespread support from federal, statewide, and local Republican organizations, solidifying her position as the Republican choice for Congress. Since the announcement of running in the new CA-45, Steel has formal endorsements from:
- California Republican Party
- Republican Party of Orange County
- Republican Party of Los Angeles
- Lincoln Club of Orange County
- New Majority PAC
As the Steel campaign continues to build consolidated local support to start the year, she also announced dominant fundraising numbers that position her with $1.6 million cash-on-hand to take on far-left, socialist Democrat Jay Chen – a perennial candidate running for Congress for his third time. Chen’s campaign is floundering as reported lackluster fundraising numbers and he faces allegations of deleting a webpage to deceive voters of his intent to double taxes on Californians.
