Within mere minutes of being exposed for supporting a single-payer health care plan being pushed in Sacramento that the nonpartisan Tax Foundation says would double taxes on California’s working class families, Jay Chen deleted the very web site where he proclaimed, “I became a delegate for Bernie Sanders in 2016 because I believed in his vision of a single-payer national health care program.”
“Jay Chen can delete every website he has, but that does not change the fact he supports a single-payer health care plan that would literally double taxes on California’s working class families,” said Michelle Steel Campaign Spokesperson Lance Trover. “Rather than attempting to deceive voters by deleting web pages, Chen needs to fess up to people that he wants to raise their taxes for his socialized health care plan.”
