Huntington Beach, CA – As Orange County families continue fighting the Coronavirus and working to get back on their feet, Orange County’s Con-Artist Congressman Harley Rouda’s plan for the community includes only one thing: Raising taxes.
Rouda supports:
- Increasing payroll taxes on already struggling small businesses and their workers
- Increasing taxes on people’s 401K retirement plans
- Increasing property taxes
- Increasing income taxes
- Nationalizing jobs-killing AB5
“It’s disappointing that Congressman Rouda’s instinct in the midst of a national pandemic is to support raising payroll taxes on small businesses, taxing retirement income, and increasing income taxes. It shows our Con-Artist Congressman has little understanding for what Orange County families actually need to get through this crisis,” Michelle Steel said. “I will always oppose raising taxes on middle class families and our small business owners and their workers.”
