National Federation of Independent Business Backs Pro-Business Leader Michelle Steel for Congress

Steel Lands Key Endorsement for Her Impressive Record Helping Small Business

Huntington Beach, CA – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) announced their endorsement for Michelle Steel for Congress, who currently serves as the Chair of the Orange County Board of Supervisors. The endorsement comes as Supervisor Steel continues to lead Orange County’s COVID-19 small business recovery and reopening.

“One of the main reasons I launched this campaign was because Orange County needs a member of Congress who understands small businesses, their needs, and the policies holding them back,” stated Chairwoman Steel. “We are now facing unprecedented unemployment, and small businesses are desperate to get back on track as we recover from COVID-19. I plan to be a true ally for business while in Congress and give them the support they need to get our economy back on track.”

NFIB is a national organization that advocates on behalf of America’s small businesses owners. It is an organization solely dedicated to small and independent businesses voices and work to improve the economic environment for such businesses.

“Michelle Steel has been a fierce advocate for small business and job creation policies across Orange County and Southern California,” said John Kabateck, NFIB’s California State Director. “Her record holds strong as she has fought for lower taxes, less regulation, and an end to lawsuit abuse. We are confident that she will continue to stand up for California small businesses in Congress. That’s why we are proud to endorse Michelle Steel today for election to the U.S. House of Representatives on behalf of small businesses in California’s 48th Congressional District.”
