Rouda spent week blaming others for his inaction while PPP went d
Huntington Beach, CA – Michelle Steel, congressional candidate for CA-48 and Orange County Board of Supervisors Chairwoman, praised the passage of new funding for the Paycheck Protection Program.
“Orange County’s small businesses are hurting, which is why an extension of the PPP was so desperately needed,” Steel said. “This week, I announced the formation of our Business Recovery Committee so we can responsibly begin the process of getting small businesses and their employees back on solid footing.”
Despite pleas for help from his constituents, Harley Rouda spent the last week attempting to shift blame for his inaction as the Paycheck Protection Program ran dry.
“Harley Rouda will quickly seek credit for today’s bill passage when his main role was nothing more than waiting a week to be told when to vote yes by his D.C. bosses,” Steel said. “Orange County’s small business community deserves better.”
