Huntington Beach, Calif — Wild fires are raging throughout California requiring 200,000 people to be evacuated and 2.5 million to endure the past weekend without electricity.
“Our state legislature and Governor have failed Californians by not adequately preparing for these devastating fires and have actually made the fires far worse through poorly thought through legislation and mismanagement,” said Congressional candidate Michelle Steel (R-48). “Our Congressional and state leaders must work in a bipartisan way to make real changes that keep Californians safe, prevent fires, protect property and the environment, and provide adequate resources to our brave first responders to quickly respond and extinguish fires.”
