Huntington Beach, CA– Orange County Supervisor Michelle Steel announced today the support of the influential Lincoln Club of Orange County to her growing list of endorsements for her campaign for California’s 48th congressional district. The Lincoln Club is the oldest and most successful pro-business political organization in Orange County and has worked at the forefront of promoting policies that limit government, promote fiscal discipline, and encourage personal responsibility.
“Michelle Steel has been an incredibly strong proponent of the very principles the Lincoln Club of Orange County was founded on: lower taxes, less government spending, and limited government regulation,” said John Warner, President of the Lincoln Club of Orange County. “Michelle Steel has established herself as one of California’s leading taxpayer advocates and has the experience and leadership to be an outstanding member of Congress who will protect Orange County families.”

In just two weeks, Michelle Steel’s campaign has built significant momentum with the early support of the district’s most influential leaders including Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes, County Supervisor Lisa Bartlett, County Supervisor Andrew Do, and State Assemblyman Tyler Diep.
Steel was overwhelming re-elected to represent Orange County’s 2nd Supervisorial district in 2018 with 63.4% of the vote. The 2nd supervisorial district overlaps 66% of California’s 48th congressional district.
The 48th district encompasses all or portions of Aliso Viejo, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, and Westminster.
