Reiterates support for single-payer healthcare with radical Indivisible
In early January, the Steel Campaign exposed Jay Chen for supporting single-payer health care which the nonpartisan Tax Foundation reports will double taxes on California families.
Within mere minutes, Chen was scrubbing the Internet of any and all mention of his plans to double taxes hoping voters would not find out.
When it came to impressing his friends at the radical Indivisible Sonoma, however, Chen could not hide his support for single payer. Yes, the same Indivisible that wants to defund police and is ardently backing Jay Chen.
During an hour-long Q/A session, when asked directly where he stood on single-payer, Chen said he’s “absolutely” for the plan that will double taxes.
Naturally, Chen fails to highlight that critical element, but it should come as no surprise from the same person who recently backed the Biden/Pelosi spending plan that raises taxes on small businesses, First Generations, and puts 87,000 new IRS agents on the streets to harass these same people.
